Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Psaki, the eldest of three daughters, was born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1978 to a psychotherapist Eileen (nee Dolan) Medvey[9 and Dimitrios "James" R. Psaki (Greek: Demetrios R. Psakes), a real estate developer who retired with a grandfather who emigrated from Greece in 1904 and whose grandmother was of Irish descent. Her parents were married in 1976. Psaki has Polish heritage. She graduated Greenwich High School, 1996. She graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2000 with the degree of English as well as sociology. She is an active Chi Omega Sorority member. Psaki was a backstroke swimmer for William & Mary Tribe for two years. Psaki began her career in 2001 when she was an election candidate for the U.S. Senate of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack. Psaki was later appointed deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign for 2004. Psaki served from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director for Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, and also as the regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced Psaki as an analyst on the political scene for the 2022 United States Elections and during the 2024 presidential campaign. In 2023 she will host a show on MSNBC’s Peacock streaming service. [35The 35-year-old Psaki made her first television appearance following her departure from her post as White House Press Secretary on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in a discussion about the Robb Elementary School shooting.
