Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24 the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a political hopeful as an American television host at MSNBC, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, former host and co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would quit the show in May 2021 to launch Breaking Points, a new independent venture that will be hosted by Krystal as well as Saagar. Ball co-hosts the show Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has been featured on network programs such as CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball married Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball says that her interest in politics to her experience after becoming an expectant mother in the 2008 primaries and also watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She was able to see how the outcome affected people in that country and gained an appreciation of the worldwide impact US politics has on people around the world. She was a Senior Fellowship member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was nominated by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1stCongressional District in the 2010 elections. But she was defeated by Rob Wittman. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 until August 2015. She co-hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 through July 2015.
